Welcome to military life

Well it's been almost a year since i have last posted anything so i am bored at home and figured what the heck lets do this.... With a little encouragement from my friend Crystal Presley. So let me catch you up to date. I am 25 now (old) and i am still happily married to Johnny, we still have 2 dogs, Spanky and Bella which is a handful but we love them. We are still stationed at crummy Hill AFB in Utah which we are trying to leave from ASAP! I will miss my family but that's why they invented air planes and automobiles. I am now enrolled in College, a year in Julyish, most of the time i enjoy it but then there are others where i just don't. I am majoring in Health care Admin. which so far seems promising for me.
So apparently my husband is still in the Air Force still doing the same job at the same base. He has been deployed once since we have actually been married and is getting ready to TDY to Vegas for a few weeks for the second time. Sometime the end of this year he will be deployed again unless we are fortunate enough to leave this hell hole we call Utah. The military is pretty much in charge of our lives, we are the puppets in this puppet show. I have also come to realize that people who don't do anything for themselves or their careers in the AF are the ones who get ahead. Then there are those of us who work our butts off for the AF and get nothing in return. YUP that's the way of the military. I would also like to clarify that those of you out there that think it is so easy being a military spouse have no idea what you are talking about and need to keep your trap shut. (sorry to sound mean), I do not like living without my husband for 6 month out of every 2 years. yeah that doesn't seem like a lot but when you have been married for 2 years and only spent half of that with your spouse it is very hard. Then also having to deal with retarded shifts and people it makes for an interesting life. Then you have the people who think that we make a billion trillion dollars. HA HA HA HA HA yeah right, I am broke, not because of my or my husbands spending habits, i am broke due to life. YUP we have bills, debt, just like the rest of you. Yes i live in base housing that doesn't require me to pay for any utilities but it is not free, i pay for the internet our phone, cable and any other thing like that. We are normal living on a crappy salary.
This past year we have had a lot of ups and downs in our life, not as a couple just as life in general. I found out i was pregnant in February of this year and miscarried March 1st, this was one of the hardest things i have ever had to go through, and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I am finally starting to re-coupe from that situation.
So that is the run down on our life and i am hoping to keep this updated but as before no promises.
Sorry if this bores you... in that case i don't really care!
Thanks for stopping by!!!!!!

Our new blog

OK well this is the first time that i have ever done anything like this but maybe it will make it so i am not so bored every day.
So Let me start by saying my name is Heather Ann Peterson Wheatley, I am 23 almost 24 in march. I have been married for 8 months to a wonderful guy. His name is John Robert Wheatley AKA Johnny. We don't have any kids yet but we do have 2 Dogs Spanky (a jack Russel mixed with Wiener dog) interesting mix i know but way cute and Bella a Choc. Lab puppy she is a handful but we love our monster. We also have a hamster named Gidget.
John is currently in the Air Force and is stationed at Hill AFB which is nice because i am still in Utah where i can see my parents and family pretty much whenever i want. We live in base housing which is nice since we got the new housing.
Our favorite things to do are play games and watch movies and play with our dogs and hang out with our best friends Dave and Denine and now Ian, and Bindy. and there are a few others that we hang out with too.
Our God son was born 2-23-09 at 3:01am and was 7 pounds 5 ounces and 20 and 1/2 inches. He is Dave and Denine's son his name is Ian David Nathanial Garner he is sooo cute and we feel very privileged that Dave and Denine asked us to be his God parents. We love him already soooo much.
Well i am not sure what else to say on here so i think for tonight i am going to stop. thanks for stopping by God bless
